Workshop Registration

For 2023, we are planning two (2) optional preconference Plantrician™ workshops on Friday, September 8th prior to the start of the full PBNHC (September 8–11, 2023).  


These pre-conference workshops are completely optional and come with an additional fee. 


Plantrician workshops are for IN-PERSON learning only and there is NO option to attend VIRTUALLY.

Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Reversal: The Esselstyn Program
Internationally known author and surgeon Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn presents his scientifically proven program of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Created by 2015 Plantrician Project Luminary award winner Caldwell B. Esselstyn Jr., MD, this evidence-based nutritional intervention and lifestyle medicine solution prevents and reverses heart disease, the leading cause of death for U.S. men and women. Dr. Esselstyn will review the scientific literature on heart disease and food and describe the physiologic benefits of a whole-food, plant- based diet. This session will also teach the fundamentals of working with patients to enable a dietary intervention, including key aspects of behavior change. Finally, Dr. Esselstyn will share the secrets that he has learned through decades of working with patients to reverse their disease.   1. Record my likeness and/or voice on a video, audio, photographic, digital, electronic or any other medium, and to edit such recordings at the discretion of THE PLANTRICIAN PROJECT.
  2. Use my name and testimonial in connection with the recordings.
